Jeffrey Marr is a Health Economics and Policy PhD candidate at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. He studies health care markets using econometric methods and administrative data. His current work focuses on Medicare Advantage, nursing homes, and insurers’ use of predictive algorithms to make coverage decisions. His research has been published in leading health policy journals, including Health Affairs and Health Services Research. Marr has a BA in Economics from Colgate University.
