Jianhui (Frank) Xu, PhD is an Assistant Scientist and health economist in the Department of Health Policy and Management at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. His current work focuses on healthcare utilization and outcomes in traditional Medicare and Medicare Advantage, hospital pricing across carriers and market segments, and prescription drug policy.
He received his PhD in Public Policy and Management, with a concentration in Health Economics, and Master of Public Policy from University of Southern California. He earned his bachelor’s degrees both in International Political Economy and Economics from Peking University.
