Guodong (Gordon) Gao, PhD, MBA, is Research Professor at the Carey Business School of Johns Hopkins University. Before joining Carey, he was the Dean’s Professor of AI in Healthcare, co-director of the Center for Health Information and Decision Systems (CHIDS), the director of the CHIDS AI Lab, at the University of Maryland, College Park. Dr. Gao’s research interests include Big Data and AI in healthcare, health IT, and quality transparency. His research has been funded by NSF, NIH, and AHRQ. Dr. Gao is a recipient of the NSF CAREER Award.
