Danielle Ripsman is a Malone Postdoctoral Fellow advised by Dr. Kimia Ghobadi and Dr. Todd McNutt. Her research primarily focuses on applying optimization methods to healthcare applications, with a special interest in radiation therapy treatment planning.  Danielle received her MASc (2018) and PhD (2024) from the Department of Management Science & Engineering at the University of Waterloo in Canada, working under the supervision of Dr. Houra Mahmoudzadeh. She previously received a BASc (2016) in industrial engineering from the University of Toronto, where she returned to work on healthcare worker allocation models at the Rotman School of Management, last year.
