Truveta Phase One Funding Opportunities
The Hopkins Business of Health Initiative (HBHI), the host of this initiative, welcomes proposals on any research topic, including those advancing the HBHI vision of a healthier nation supported by an affordable and equitable, high-value health system. All research topics are welcome among principal investigators who are faculty members of Johns Hopkins University.

2025 Pilot Grant Awardees
HBHI’s Pilot Grant program aims to incubate and accelerate impactful, world-class, collaborative research across divisions of the Johns Hopkins University to improve the productivity of the nation’s health system.
We are pleased to announce six pilot grant awardees for our 2025 cohort. We sought pilots which advance HBHI’s mission to incubate or accelerate collaborative research within the domains of at least one of the HBHI strategic pillars: Market Competition and healthcare policy, Health delivery performance, Health of populations and health equity, and Innovation - health technology and systems.
