Conan Dickson, PhD, MPH

Conan Dickson is an Associate Practice Professor at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in the Department of Health Policy and Management. In this role, his primary focus is on teaching and advising in HPM's Leadership and Management concentration for DrPH, MHA, and MPH students. Additionally, he teaches the large undergraduate fundamentals of Health Policy and Management course.
Dr. Dickson leverages his extensive leadership network and past management experience to bring practical and contemporary lessons to the classroom. He currently serves as the Maryland Regent for the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), where he is also board certified as a Fellow; on the Board of Directors of The Healthcare Council (DC); on the Board Finance Committee for the Association of University Programs in Health Administration (AUPHA); and on the Education and Editorial Advisory Board for the Society for Health Strategy and Market Development (SHSMD).
Prior to joining the faculty full-time in March 2020, Dr. Dickson spent twenty-five years working at Johns Hopkins Medicine in a variety of leadership roles.
