Meredith Tierney-Beed is the Communications Director for the Hopkins Business of Health Initiative. They lead HBHI's communications strategy, translating faculty research and policy insights into accessible content for policymakers, health care executives, and partners across digital, editorial, and public-facing channels. Their work spans executive communications, event promotion, research dissemination, and coordination across the four participating Johns Hopkins divisions.

Before stepping into the director role, Meredith led communications for the Health Policy Research Scholars program at the Bloomberg School of Public Health, funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, where they managed recruitment campaigns, research dissemination, and scholar storytelling. Prior to that, they managed communications for research centers at the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School, connecting the school's research to broader conversations in the business of health, technology, human capital, and gender equity. Earlier in their career, Meredith worked with AmeriCorps and the YWCA Southern Arizona and held freelance roles in ed-tech and climate action. These experiences strengthened their commitment to impact-focused and accessible storytelling.
