Dr. Ravert is an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Her current focus is on the development of an intersectional program within the Department of Emergency Medicine to identify evidence-based solutions to many of the access to care, equity, and sustainability issues facing emergency medicine and healthcare as a whole.  Dr. Ravert received her BA in History from the University of Washington and worked in information technology for eight years before attending Towson University, where she received a BS in Chemistry. She graduated from the University of Maryland School of Medicine and completed her residency in Emergency Department at Johns Hopkins. She was the Medical Director of the industry-leading Forensic Nurse Examiner program at ChristianaCare in Delaware and on the Board of Directors for a small democratic group of emergency physicians before returning to Johns Hopkins in 2024 to pursue her passion for collaborative pursuit of real solutions for pressing health care issues. She is an emergency physician practicing at The Johns Hopkins Hospital and at Bayview Medical Center.
